Progressive Learning

Even with the latest user-friendly machine technologies, success correlates directly to the expertise of the programmers and operators working with the equipment. That’s why Mazak has constantly made substantial investments in developing and refining our Progressing Learning program.

Mazak Progressive Learning represents a unique, phased approach to education and training, combining hands-on training, web-based instruction and real world examples to empower customers with the skills needed to get the most out of their investment. Our program offers tiers of offerings, ranging from self-paced coursework to high advanced Multi-Tasking User Groups. This ensures an appropriate entry point for any individual, regardless of their current level of skill and expertise.

Every Mazak machine includes three years of programming training at no charge to our customers. Additionally, customers can receive training at a variety of locations. Classes are routinely offered at our Learning Center and Center for Multi-Tasking and Manufacturing Excellence in Florence, Kentucky. Each of our Regional Technology Centers also integrates our Progressive Learning approach and provides a host of training alternatives. We also make available customized, on-site training programs that can be held at your own facilities. By offering such a range of options, we ensure that every customer can be armed with the knowledge to optimize their production processes.

Documentation

In a fast-paced environment, quick access to technical information can make the difference between pausing production for ten minutes or losing precious hours of machine operation. To maximize convenient access to such data, Mazak provides customers with comprehensive digital manuals for Kentucky manufactured machines that can be viewed directly from a machine’s CNC control. Via an intuitive interface, users can quickly and easily find the information they need, whether they’re standing in front of the machine, sitting at their computer or traveling with a laptop.

Spindle & Unit Rebuild

Through our industry leading spindle exchange and rebuild program, we can quickly and efficiently fulfill your every spindle need to keep your operations running as smoothly as possible.

We give you the option to purchase a brand new spindle, have your spindle repaired or acquire a Mazak rebuilt spindle. We also offer the highest quality new and remanufactured index tables, ATC shifters and milling turrets. Check spindle repair/rebuild status

  • We have more than 900 different spindle variations for all types of turning centers, vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as Multi-Tasking machines.
  • We stock more than 300 rebuilt spindles to provide a cost-effective spindle solution delivered in as little as 2 or 3 days.
  • Spindle repairs are processed in a clean room environment and overseen by quality control teams with ISO: 9001:2008 certification.
  • Our spindle repairs/rebuilds occur within 5 days of receipt and include 12 hours of test stand runoff.
  • We provide a 7-month parts and labor warranty on rebuilt spindles with Mazak installation.
