VARIAXIS Series 5-Axis Vertical Machining Centers feature unique highly rigid, built-in tilting rotary tables. The machines allow for workpieces with complex contours and features to be finished in single machine setups. The machines provide tremendous weight capacity and increased machining accuracy while reducing cycle times. Full 5-axis, simultaneously controlled machining with the machines is ideal for aerospace components as well as prismatic parts in steel and aluminum. Machines designated as (T) turning configurations are equipped with 1,100-rpm turning capability for Multi-Tasking operations. For greater productivity, machines are available with a 2-pallet changer system. Or, they can be paired with a Palletech system to form powerful automtated cells.
