On 1st and 2nd October 2015, Yamazaki Mazak Singapore held a grand launch for its new "SmoothX" CNC controller.
The launch of MAZAK's "SmoothX" controller marks another milestone in the illustrious history of Yamazaki Mazak Singapore, it also aligns with MAZAK's philosophy to provide industry leading and innovative technological solutions and support to our customers.
Apart from launching the new SmoothX controller, the new Vertical Machining Center; Vertical Center Primos 400 S was also unveiled during the event.
In preparation for the event, Mazak Singapore has converted a section of the production line into a production showroom. showcasing the machines that are manufactured in Singapore.
Mazak Singapore has also collaborated with NACHI Robotic System and RENISHAW to showcase a fully unmanned Robot Cell featuring auto loading of components and part inspection.
The launch event drew a total of 156 and 183 attendees for each respective day, Two speakers from Mazak Japan were invited to share and present the latest development in Hybrid Multi-Tasking Technologies, incorporating Additive Manufacturing and Horizontal Boring Mill Technology for large parts machining for the Oil & Gas, Energy and Heavy Equipment Industries.
